Woman faces charge of child-endangering
WARREN
Police arrested Antila D. Daniels, 31, of Trentwood Drive Southeast, on Friday afternoon and booked her into the Trumbull County Jail on a misdemeanor child-endangering charge.
She’s accused of leaving her daughter, then 14 months, in the car alone while she shopped for 10 to 20 minutes in Home Depot, 1900 Niles-Cortland Road, at 1 p.m. Jan. 12.
Police were waiting at the car when Daniels came out of the store and advised her a report would be on file. The car was parked under the lumber canopy. The county’s Children Services agency was contacted and given a copy of the report.
Daniels was released from the jail shortly after being booked. No arraignment date is listed in Warren Municipal Court records.
