Antique firearms stolen from Pa. Civil War museum
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police are investigating the theft of some antique firearms from a central Pennsylvania museum over the weekend.
Harrisburg police were called to the National Civil War Museum about 12:40 p.m. Sunday after the burglary was reported.
Police said investigators determined several antique firearms were taken from a display case sometime between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and midday Sunday.
Authorities didn’t specify the exact number of weapons taken, their worth or whether any have been recovered.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Dauphin County police. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,0000 for information leading to an arrest.
