‘Room on the Broom’ show

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

Westminster College Celebrity Series for Kids presents “Room on the Broom” at 6:30 p.m. March 3 in Orr Auditorium.

Tickets are $12 at westminster.edu/celebrity or by phone at 724-946-7354.

The show features puppetry and sing-along songs. It’s recommended for children age 3 to 8.

Produced by Tall Stories Theater Company, the musical stage adaptation of the best-selling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler takes audiences aboard a magnificent broom for an adventure with a witch, her cat, a dragon and a few friendly animals.

The witch and her cat fly happily along until a stormy wind blows away the witch’s hat, bow and wand.

With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved, but the broomstick’s not meant for five and it snaps in two.
