The Vindicator will run a free listing of area services that are open to the public in observance of Palm Sunday, March 20; Holy Thursday, March 24; Good Friday, March 25; Holy Saturday, March 26; and Easter Sunday, March 27.
The deadline to submit information is 5 p.m. March 16. Publication will be March 19.
Information should include the denomination and name of the church, address, city or suburb, the day, time, type of service, your name and a phone number for verification.

New pastor
CORTLAND
Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, state Route 305 and Ridge Road, has called a new pastor, Elder Stephen West, a native of Georgia. He and his wife, Becky, and their six children recently moved to the Valley from Courtland, Va.
lder West previously taught music at middle and high schools in Virginia. He is working on a master’s degree at Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. Worship service is at 11 a.m. Sundays.
First Friday Club

Richard Jusseaume will be the featured speaker when the First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown meets March 3 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St. He is president of Walsh University. His topic will be “Journey of Faith.”

Cornersburg Baptist Church, 3898 Tippecanoe Road, is sponsoring a 12-week course for people with addictions, emotional hurts or any painful past. The course is based on Scripture. The course is open to the community.

Faith Fellowship Church of God, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., will conduct Valentine’s Day services Sunday beginning with pipe organ worship music by Claudine Bridges from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Worship will begin at 10:45 a.m. with a gospel choir led by Phyllis Vivod at the keyboard. Guest ministers, the Revs. Terry and Donna McBeath of Findlay, Ohio, will minister at the service.
There will be a pot luck dinner at 4 p.m. at which the McBeaths also will minister.
