“Don’t Hug Me,SDRq directed by Terri Gilbert, Trumbull New Theatre, 5883 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles. Auditions from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Needed are two men and one woman, age 25 to 35, and one man and one woman, age 55 to 70. All are singing roles. Auditionees will read from the script and must be prepared to sing 16 bars that show vocal range. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella. The show opens May 6 and runs three weekends. “Moonlight and Magnolias,SDRq directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo, Victorian Players Theater, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions at 2 p.m. Feb. 20 and 21. Needed are three men age 30 to 60 and one woman age 30 to 60. Auditionees will read from the script and may be asked to perform physical comedy maneuvers.

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,SDRq directed by Dennis Henneman, Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane. Auditions at 4 p.m. Feb. 21 and 6 p.m. Feb. 22. All roles are open. Auditionees should bring a current photograph and be prepared to sing, dance and read from the script. Singing requirement is 32 bars from a classic Broadway show with the appropriate sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Musical director is Nancy Wolfgang, and choreographer is Joanna Andrei. Performances will be May 13-21. Rehearsals will begin in late February. Auditionees will be asked to read from the script and should bring a current photograph. Performers age 8 to 18 are needed.
