Police arrest Girard man on DUI charge

GIRARD — Police arrested a man this morning for driving under the influence.

Officers stopped Marcus Hollenbank, 30, of Girard at Church Hill Road and Washington Avenue about 1:30 a.m. for reckless driving.

A police report says Hollenbank had glassy eyes, smelled of alcohol and could not keep his balance. Hollenbank registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.258, police reported. The legal intoxication limit in Ohio is 0.08.

Police also issued traffic citations to Hollenbank for driving left of center and failure to yield when turning left.
