‘One Snowy Night’ event will celebrate love

Youngstown Click, a local organization committed to fostering a sense of community in the greater Youngstown area, is hosting a Valentine’s Day celebration of love. The event, “One Snowy Night — When Love Happens,” will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in the grand ballroom of the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St.
Music, spoken word and poetry performances from local artists will explore different stages of love, including “In Love,” “Lost Love,” “Looking for Love,” “Broken Love” and “Found Love.” Dancing to the music of Frank Sinatra performed by Steve Fazzini and socializing will follow, and refreshments and desserts will be served.
The event is open to individuals and couples over the age of 16. Semiformal dress is requested.
Advance tickets are $20 each and are available at Consign and Design, 11 McKinley Way, Poland; Something New Florist, 4500 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield; Send it Packin’, 4496 Mahoning Ave., Austintown; and Suzie’s Dogs and Drafts, 34 N. Phelps St. Tickets will be $30 at the door.
Parking will be available on the west side of the building as space allows.
