CASINO NIGHTS

Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will host a casino night and Texas Hold’em on March 5 in the Covelli Gymnasium. Doors open at 5 p.m. for blackjack, poker tables and raffles, and the tournament begins at 5:30. A $50 buy-in will earn $1,300 in chips. Register early through March 3 for an extra $500 in chips. Participants must be 18 or older to attend. Proceeds will benefit parish ministries. For information call 330-372-2215. FUNDRAISERS

Jackson-Milton High School National Honor Society will host a Spring Extravaganza from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 7 at the high school, 13910 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson. Table rentals are available for $25 for vendors and sales consultants; no vendor will be duplicated. All money raised from table rentals will be donated to the Austintown Relay for Life on behalf of Team J-M NHS. Those who rent tables are asked to donate an item or basket to be raffled at the relay. NIGHTS AT THE RACES

St. Nicholas School will host a night at the races at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 20 in the school’s Great Hall, 766 Fifth St., Struthers. There is free admission, refreshments and food. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. February specials include a winter clearance sale on everything in the shop for $2 each, excluding jewelry and orchid tickets. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Tuesday.

Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, will sponsor a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

TRIPS

Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, will host a bus trip Sunday to Cleveland to see the musical “If/Then,” which follows one woman’s two possible life paths. Cost is $75 for JCC members and $85 for nonmembers, which covers the cost of an orchestra seat, transportation and tip for the bus driver. Participants will eat dinner independently.
