Trumbull Career and Technical Center will offer a free seven-week manufacturing readiness program beginning March 8.

Only 15 spots are available, so interested parties are encouraged to call soon.

The program is free through grant funding, but is a $3,000 value.

Participants have the opportunity to:

Develop workplace and personal skills through manufacturing-related learning.

Enter into and advance along a career pathway in manufacturing.

Gain the basic skills for entry into more advanced manufacturing skill training, including registered apprenticeships.

Complete mock interviews with local manufacturers and get real-time feedback.

Earn seven credentials in seven weeks.

The credentials include WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate, OSHA-compliant 10-hour safety for general industry and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council Certified Production Technician credential.

For manufacturers, the program provides a steady pool of individuals who are prepared not only for the entry level, but also poised to develop the technical skills that are hard to find.

Interested individuals should call 330-480-4384, ext. 1214 or 1222, or go to www.industryneedsyou.com/readiness.
