The Steel Valley Postal Customer Council will present a free seminar titled “Lunch with Joe” on Feb. 25 at the Youngstown Post Office, 99 S. Walnut St.
The featured speaker will be Joe Seminara, founder and president of Pizza Joe’s. The seminar will take place from noon to 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. Pizza will be provided.
BBB scholarships

The Better Business Bureau of Mahoning Valley will accept applications for its Ethics & Integrity Scholarship through May 5.
This Ethics & Integrity Scholarship Program provides five $1,000 one-year, post-secondary scholarships to high-school seniors. Applicants must be the child or grandchild of the owner or employees of a BBB- accredited business.

The scholarship winners will be honored June 10 at the BBB’s Torch Awards luncheon.
Ribbon-cutting

Brunch Bowl Cafe, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road, had a grand-opening ribbon-cutting recently.
Open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week, customers can order breakfast or lunch at any hour.
The cafe offers breakfast options and other dishes including chicken and burgers. Salads and daily specials such as pasta, grits and sandwiches are available.
Brunch Bowl Cafe offers a full menu for dine-in or carryout. There is a semi-private room for larger groups. Carryout orders can be phoned in at 330-799-2695.
‘Power Lunch’ planned

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a “Power Lunch” at the Bourbon House 45, 775 Mahoning Ave. NW., on Feb. 19.
The chamber’s “Power Programs” are for networking. They are free to attend. Those in attendance cover their own lunch.

Columbiana chamber sets awards banquet
COLUMBIANA
The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will have its 63rd annual awards banquet Feb. 28 at The Links at Firestone Farms Banquet Center, 105 St. Andrews Drive.
Awards for young citizen of the year, outstanding community service, business person of the year, special recognition, lifetime of service and business of the year will be given out.
The chamber’s business development committee also will honor local businesses and milestone awards for long-standing organizations and businesses.
