Historical Society to celebrate anniversary

The William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society will have its 55th anniversary meeting at 4 p.m. Feb. 16 at Coitsville town hall, 3711 McCartney Road.

Lockwood UMC to host chili cook-off

Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., will host a chili cook-off from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 21.

Face painting for children and raffles will be offered. Takeout is available.

Shrove Tuesday meal set at Mount Olivet

NORTH LIMA

Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Road, will host a Shrove Tuesday pancake and sausage supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Donations will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit the community day camp of North Lima.

Event to tackle toxic relationships

SALEM

Betsy Williams, assistant director of case management at Salem Regional Medical Center, will be the speaker for a Wellness Wednesday event at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Quaker Room at the Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St.

She will discuss ways to identify toxic relationships and ways to make them healthier.

The wellness events are offered the second Wednesday of each month, and are free and open to the public. Registration is required; visit www.salem.lib.oh.us or call 330-332-0042.
