Up for adoption

How to adopt: Call West Side Cats at 330-792-4228. Visit them at the shelter at 2217 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.

Name: Pumpkin

Info: Pumpkin is a beautiful orange tabby that was born on April 15, 2015. She gets along well with other cats and is friendly with people, but it’s unknown how she’ll react to dogs. She’s a quiet, reserved cat and needs someone to help her open up and share more of herself. Pumpkin may turn into a Cinderella if she gets to ride home in a coach with a nice family!

Name: Butterscotch

Info: This sweet cat turned 4 on April 3, 2015, and is a bit shy and scared. Volunteers think she may have had some neglect in her background, and she needs an owner that will show her patience and understanding until she comes around. Butterscotch is very active and doesn’t bother other cats. Its unclear how she’ll be around kids and dogs.

Hours: 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; Closed Sunday and Monday.

Info: Both cats have been neutered and are up-to-date on their shots. They tested negative for feline AIDS and leukemia. They have been flea-treated and dewormed and are ready to go home.
