Boy Scout Sunday

At worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Cub Scout Pack 25 and their families and Boy Scout Troop 25 and their families along with the congregation of Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., Canfield, will celebrate the 106th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, 90th anniversary of Boy Scout Troop 25 and 80th anniversary of Cub Scout Pack 25.

Scouts will serve a pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m.

It is open to the public for a donation.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 159 Todd Ave., Hermitage Pa., also will mark the Scout anniversary with refreshments at 10:30 a.m., followed by worship with Holy Communion at 11.

All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers, Venturing Scouts, and leaders in uniform will receive a gift from Pastor David Williamson, who served as chaplain of Custaloga Town Scout Camp for the past eight summers.

Prayer breakfast planned

YOUNGSTOWN

We Walk By Faith Bible Church, 1636 Himrod Ave., will sponsor a prayer breakfast at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 on the theme of love.

Roney Tucker is pastor.

Speaker will be evangelist Cassandra Clinkscale of Manifested Promises Church.
