.22 rimfire shoot at Hidden Valley club

Hidden Valley Sportsman’s Club, 268 Gilkey Road, will have a .22-caliber rimfire target shoot Feb. 14.

The shoot will feature 10 stations, five targets at each station, ranging from 15 to 75 yards; rifle or handgun, open sights or scoped; .22 lead bullets only, no .22 mag or .17 caliber.

Cost is $5 per round plus optional $5 for 50/50 shoot on money bell. First squad goes out at 9 a.m.; last squad goes out at 2:30 p.m. Free food, bottled water and coffee will be provided to all shooters. For more information, call 724-528-2700 or 724-977-2478, or email jhabarka47@yahoo.com.

Super Show and Sale

Niles

The Sportsman’s Fishing & Hunting Super Show and Sale will take place March 4-6 at McMenamy’s Banquet Center, Route 422, Niles.

Hours are noon to 8 p.m. March 4, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 5, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6.

The show features tackle specials, hunting equipment, turkey calls, tree stands, camouflage clothes, boats, boating accessories, electronics and much more.

Live animals with Heather “Merit’s “Birds of Prey” will be up close and in person.

The first 100 children, accompanied by an adult, on March 5 and 6 will receive free rods, provided by the Trumbull Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs.
