Youngstown police having phone troubles

The city police department is having difficulty with phone lines, and the phone number, 330-747-7911, is not currently available. City Hall is working to fix the problem. Those who need to contact police should call 330-742-8900. Police said they would notify the public when the situation is resolved. The 911 emergency telephone line is not affected, police said.
