Trumbull vets program has first graduation

WARREN — The Trumbull County Veterans Assistance Program celebrated is first graduation today.

A Trumbull County man who served in the U.S. Army from 1998 to 2002 and served in Iraq in 2001 and 2002 ran into legal trouble, which brought him to Newton Falls Municipal Court.

He was referred to the assistance program, run by Judge James Fredericka of Trumbull County Probate Court.

He received counseling and assistance did well in his program, officials said. Judge Philip Vigorito of Newton Falls Municipal Court is expected to dismiss his charges.
