Navarra-Smith engagement is announced


Sarah Navarra and Kerstin Smith, both of Columbus, are engaged and planning a June 4 wedding.

The announcement is being made by the parents of the bride-elect, Marilyn and James Muntean of Poland and Charles and Karen Navarra of Boardman, and the stepfather of the prospective groom, John Egner of Boardman. Mr. Smith also is son of the late Deborah A. Egner and Eugene H. Smith.

An open wedding ceremony is planned for 1:30 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, and invitations will be issued for a reception to follow at The Embassy. Both are in Boardman.

Miss Navarra earned a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from Youngstown State University. She is a registered respiratory therapist at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Her future husband is a line chef at Texas Road House in Columbus.
