YSU women beat Oakland, 67-63


— Sarah Cash scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Nikki Arbanas added 18 points on six 3-pointers as the Youngstown State women's basketball team rallied to beat Oakland, 67-63, on Thursday.

The Penguins (15-6, 6-4 Horizon League) trailed 45-38 after three quarters, but outscored the Golden Grizzlies 29-18 in the fourth quarter. Oakland fell to 12-9 and 4-6.

Kelsea Newman added 15 points for YSU, which hosts Detroit at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Taylor Gleason led Oakland with 14 points.
