Sojourn to the Past fundraiser dinner is Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN — Sojourn to the Past is having a fundraising spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Richard Brown United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm St., across from Wick Park.

The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Sojourn to the Past is a seven-day trip to the civil-rites sites in the South. A total of 13 city high-school students will leave March 24 and travel to Little Rock, Ark., Memphis, Tenn., Selma and Birmingham, Ala., and Jackson, Hattiesburg and Meridian, Miss.

They will meet with icons of the Civil Rights Movement.
