TODAY

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will sell takeout cavatelli dinners with homemade sauce from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals also include two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and dessert for $9. A smaller portion of cavatelli and one meatball will cost $5. Pasta fagioli will be sold for $6 a quart and pasta sauce for $5 a quart. Place your order, remain in your car and your dinner will be delivered to you.

THURSDAY

St. Mary’s Church, 3504 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will host a drive-through chili dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Meals include chili with cheese and sour cream sides, cornbread, vegetable sticks and dessert. Cost is $7 per person or $5 for a quart of chili. The sale benefits the church’s maintenance campaign.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will host a drive-through chicken dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out for $8 each. A stuffed chicken breast comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will host carryout only fish fries each Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. through March 25. Haddock, chicken or shrimp will be served with fries, roll and coleslaw for $9. Extra fish is $2.50, and pirogi are $3.50. Punch and coffee also will be available. Carryout containers only. Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 per dozen. Frozen pirogi will be sold while supplies last. Phone orders may be made from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and beginning at 8 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up starting at noon.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two), coleslaw or applesauce, bread and butter and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders each week for freshly made potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6.50 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Sharon First United Methodist Church, 237 E. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will host a chicken pie dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at a cost of $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. For information, call 724-983-0200.

Cub Scout Pack 25 and Boy Scout Troop 25 will sponsor a breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. in fellowship hall of Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., in recognition of the 106th anniversary of the Boy Scouts America. The Scouts will prepare and serve pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, orange juice, milk or coffee. Tickets are not required; donations will be accepted.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Knights of Columbus 3930 is sponsoring a pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Beverages also are included. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Dinners will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Carryouts are available; containers will be provided. Dinner consists of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. Guests who wear a league shirt will receive a dollar off their meal when they eat in the social hall. VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve homestyle breakfasts from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Menu items are eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. The breakfast is sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary.

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will have a chicken teriyaki drive-through dinner Feb. 11 from 2:30 p.m. until sold out. The meal also includes Hawaiian rice, Asian slaw and a fortune cookie, and there is a children’s menu of hot dog and macaroni and cheese. Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children. Christ The Good Shepherd Parish at St. John the Baptist Church, 159 Reed. Ave., Campbell, will be selling homemade haluski for $5 a quart from 10 a.m. to noon on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10. St. Brendan Parish will sell pepperoni rolls for $2 each and chili for $7 a quart and will accept orders through Friday. St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will have a soup sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 13. Italian wedding soup and ham, bean and barley soup will be sold for takeout only for $6 a quart. The center also will offer a stuffed cabbage dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 14. A $12.50 dinner will include three stuffed cabbages, salad, mashed potatoes, vegetable, apple strudel and coffee or tea. Takeout is available.
