City police find cocaine, pills after man arrested Monday evening

YOUNGSTOWN — Police found 30 bags of cocaine and 73 pills inside the car of a man arrested early Monday evening after a chase on the South Side.

Devin Towns, 40, of Lakewood Circle, is in the Mahoning County jail on several charges after he was arrested by police following a foot and vehicle chase at about 7:45 p.m. at East Florida Avenue and Rush Boulevard.

Also found were two bags of marijuana, four suboxone strips, four cell phones and $564 in cash, reports said.

Towns was also wanted on warrants for possession of cocaine charges
