Boardman police respond to assault, domestic-violence calls
BOARDMAN — Township police responded to several assault and domestic-violence incidents Monday, leading to two arrests.
Police arrested Michael Terlecky, 22, of Overhill Road, Monday morning on two charges of misdemeanor domestic violence, and seized a gun and ammunition as evidence.
According to a police report, Terlecky threatened two household members with the gun. The victims reported that Terlecky threatened to “pistol whip” them after one attempted to use his bathroom.
Police arrested Bobbi Olds, 37, of Applecrest Court, Monday afternoon on charges of felonious assault and felony domestic violence. The charges stem from an incident earlier that day in which police responded to the area of Southern Boulevard and Mathews Road for a report that someone had been struck by a car.
Police say Olds struck a female victim with her SUV after the female jumped out and attempted to flee.
The domestic-violence charge was elevated to a felony due to a prior conviction of aggravated menacing against a household member, according to a police report.
Police also are investigating a stabbing incident reported Monday night.
Police responded to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital shortly before 10 p.m., according to a police report, where they observed the victim to have multiple injuries, including a puncture wound to his neck.
He told police he was attacked with a steak knife while having dinner at a friend’s house. He had to have stitches to his ear and thumb, according to the report.
