Autopsy set for woman dropped off at hospital ER Monday

WARREN — An autopsy is planned for today on an unidentified black woman who was dropped off at the emergency room at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital at 12:55 a.m. Monday and could not be revived.

Warren police are investigating to determine her identity. The coroner’s office was unable to provide any additional descriptive information about the female.

Police said an unknown white male pulled up to the emergency room doors and told emergency room personnel that a woman was passed out in his car.

The woman was removed and medical staff attempted life-saving procedures before pronouncing her dead.

The woman had no identification, police said.
