REO Speedwagon coming to Stambaugh Auditorium

REO Speedwagon is coming to Stambaugh Auditorium on April 7.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the box office, online at stambaughauditorium.com and by pone at 330-259-0555.

Formed in 1967, REO Speedwagon gained popularity in the 1970s and achieved mainstream success with the 1980 release of its album “Hi Infidelity,” which included four Top 40 hits and is certified nine times platinum. Those hits include “Keep on Loving You,” “Take it on the Run,” “Don’t Let Him Go,” and “In Your Letter.”

The band’s other hits include: ““Can’t Fight this Feeling,” “Time for Me to Fly,” “Roll with the Changes,” “Ridin’ the Storm Out” and “Keep the Fire Burnin.’”

In the almost 50 years since the band was formed, REO Speedwagon has sold 40 million around the globe.
