BOARDMAN

The annual Black and White Snowflake Ball will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Embassy Banquet Hall, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road. Members of Epsilon Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. are hosting the event. DJ Still Bill will entertain and there will be a basket auction.

The cost is $45 per person and $20 for students. To purchase tickets, call Sandy Smith-Graves at 330-550-2801, Kareem Ash-Holloway at 724-813-8588, Deanna Brown at 724-977-4170 or any sorority member. The deadline to purchase tickets is Jan. 20.

The ball raises money for scholarships and community outreach/service projects. Many high school seniors in Youngstown and the surrounding areas of Mahoning and Trumbull counties have been recipients.
