East Palestine 85, Keystone Oaks (Pa.) 69

EAST PALESTINE

Branden Kemp’s 18 points and Dominic Posey’s 17 were enough to slug out a win against Keystone Oaks. Marshall Huddleston added 12 and the Bulldogs drained eight threes in the win. Jake Mellon scored 22 points to lead the Golden Eagles.

Ursuline 74, Erie First Christian 61

SHARON, PA.

Dakota Hobbs scored 21 points to lead Ursuline (5-3). Anthony Howell added 18 points for the Irish. Erie First Christian (3-4) was led by Hunter Kallay’s 30 points. Jeremy Montefiori (12 points) and Samuel Lawal (11) also reached double figures.

Howland 64, Sharon (Pa.) 57

SHARON, PA.

Connor Tamarkin and Mike Massucci each scored 16 points to take a win from across the border. Nate Leventis added 10 in the win. J.T. McComb led Sharon with 16 while Josh Torr scored 12.

McDonald 77, Leetonia 46

LEETONIA

Joe Ragazzine scored 23 points to keep McDonald unbeaten. 12 of his 23 points came from behind the three point line. Caleb Emerson and Zach Rasile scored 14 points and hit four three pointers each for the Blue Devils, while Dylan Portolese scored 13 points. Roman Ferry scored 19 points for Leetonia.

South Range 72, Jackson-Milton 46

NORTH JACKSON

Anthony Ritter led the way for South Range, scoring 20 points. Ritter connected on four three pointers. Dan Ritter and Brandon Youngs each added 10 points for the Raiders. The trio of John Voland (14 points), Eric Ostrowski (13), and Clayton Maskarivec (12) reached double figures for Jackson-Milton.

United 60, Southern Local 57

HANOVERTON

United (4-3) was led by Jake Clark’s 18 points. Kaden Smith (16 points) and Dakota Nell (15) also hit double figures for the Eagles. Domanick Michael scored a game-high 20 points for Southern. Joining him in double figure scoring was Dominic Pugliano with 11 points.

Louisville 76, Austintown Fitch 65

AUSTINTOWN

The duo of Louisville’s Chris Libertore (24 points) and Jared Mathie (19) was too much for the Falcons. Randy Smith scored 25 to lead Fitch while Lawrence Harrington had 12 points and Jakari Lumsden added 11.

LaBrae 58, Newton Falls 44

NEWTON FALLS

Logan Kiser scored 15 to lead the Vikings (6-0) while Carlton Brown added 12 more in the win. Ben Simpson scored 15 to lead the Tigers (2-5) in defeat.

Western Reserve 59, Wellsville 54

BERLIN CENTER

Ryan Demsky led the Blue Devils (6-1, 2-0) with 15 points as Western Reserve handed Wellsville (7-1) their first loss of the year. Cade Hillis scored 12 while Cole DeZee added 10 in the win. Michael Shope led the Tigers (7-1) with 12 points while Branzen Grodhaus finished with 11.

Girard 54, Brookfield 31

BROOKFIELD

Anthony Graziano scored 16 points to lead the Indians over Brookfield. Girard outscored the Warriors 18-3 in the second quarter and coasted from there. Austin O’Hara added 15 points in the win. Brian Hiner led Brookfield with 10 points in the loss.

Lisbon 64, Crestview 39

LISBON

Branson Brownfield scored 12 to lead the Blue Devils (5-3) past winless Crestview (0-7). Colin Sweeney scored 11 while Dougie Minor, Justin Sweeney and Bailey McCullough each scored 10 points. Scott Murray and Wyatt Woodring each led the Rebels with nine points.

Oak Glen (W.Va.) 56, Beaver Local 40

EAST LIVERPOOL

Chris Kokoski hit four three pointers and scored 19 points overall to elad Oak Glen. Logan Taylor added 13 points. Beaver Local was led by Chase Wilcox who scored 14 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Massillon Jackson 59, Howland 30

JACKSON TOWNSHIP

Taylor Mikesell tied her own school record with seven 3-pointers and nearly matched Howland herself with 29 points in Massillon Jackson’s victory in the Texas Roadhouse Holiday Classic. The Polar Bears improved to 5-3. The Tigers (7-3) were led by Kayla Clark, who scored six points. Howland standout Sara Price was limited to five.
