Argus Lodge honors Mason of the Year

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Argus Lodge 545 of Canfield honored David Lavrock on Oct. 28 as Mason of the Year. The award is given to a member who has diligently served the lodge. Lavrock has been a member of the lodge for 21 years and also is a member of the Fellowcraft Team and Tuesday Bunch. He lives in Boardman with his wife, Nancy. They have a daughter, Megan, and one grandchild. Lavrock graduated from Boardman High School and worked at Akron Energy until his retirement. He also serves as captain with the 19th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War Re-enactment group, and enjoys restoring antique cars.
