The Mediates celebrate 60 years together

CAMPBELL

Enrico and Maria (Polito) Mediate of Campbell celebrated their 60th anniversary Sept. 20 with a dinner at Caffe Capri hosted by their daughters and their families. They were married Sept. 20, 1956, at Cirella Reggio Calabria, Italy.

Their children are Joanne Phelps (Robert Wysokinski) of Dublin, Ohio, Toni (Joe) Malvestuto of Petersburg, and Mary Jo (Rick) Kubiak and Lucy (Joe) Parillo, all of Boardman. They have seven grandchildren: Daniel (Allison) Phelps, Joseph Phelps, Christopher Lozano, Joseph Malvestuto, Rick (Rita) Kubiak, Angela Parillo and Jessica Parillo.

Mrs. Mediate retired from Dillard’s as a seamstress. She is a member of St. Monica Ladies Guild and The Ladies Club of Terraverde Country Club in Fort Myers, Fla.

Mr. Mediate worked for Pennsylvania and Lake Erie Railroad in Youngstown. He golfed in several leagues including at Terraverde Country Club. He was a member of the Men’s Society of St. Lucy Church. The couple are members of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica.
