The students at St. Charles elementary school had a mock election on Election Day 2016.

All students in grades K-8 participated in the election process, complete with voter registration, a paper ballot, electronic voter booth and a sticker announcing “I Voted Today.”

Mrs. Handel, the technology instructor at St. Charles, conducted all voting in the computer lab where students learned how to cast their vote using either a paper ballot and ballot box or an electronic voter booth. All students were encouraged to dress in traditional patriotic colors of red, white and blue in lieu of the school uniform.

All election results will be tallied and data collected, this information will be analyzed and recorded and presented to the entire student body which will complete the Election Day experience.
