Liberty man faces gun, drug charges after arrest in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — A Liberty man is in the Mahoning County jail after he was arrested earlier today on gun and drug charges.

Reports said police pulled over a car about 12:10 a.m. driven by Tre’Shaun White, 21, of Trumbull Avenue, for an improper turn in the first block of West Glenaven Avenue on the South Side.

A records check found that White is wanted on three warrants from municipal court and he has a suspended driver’s license, reports said. He was placed into custody and a small amount of suspected marijuana and a bag of suspected heroin were found when he was searched, reports said.

Reports said when police searched White’s car they found a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun.
