Poland council approves tethering law

POLAND — Village Council members tonight approved an emergency dog-tethering ordinance.

The ordinance starts immediately, prohibiting the tethering of dogs between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. during extreme weather conditions. Violations will be a misdemeanor.
