Mooney celebrates Giving Tuesday with donation

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Cardinal Mooney High School celebrated Giving Tuesday by donating $500 to Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley with the help of an anonymous alumna donor. Because eighth grade students are too young to volunteer for the Rescue Mission, Mooney made the donation in honor of all Lumen Christi eighth grade students in the Diocese of Youngstown, St. Paul School, Salem, and St. Joseph the Provider School, Youngstown. Mooney Hospitality Team members toured the mission’s facility Nov. 29 and presented the check to Crystal Eckman, mission ambassador.
