YOUNGSTOWN

Junior League of Youngstown hosted three events in November. The first was volunteering at Dorothy Day House. Members donated food and prepared 76 meals.

The second event was a collaboration of five leagues for an executive level leadership training session on stress management, led by Vicki Clark.

Finally, a sustainer celebration at the Youngstown Country Club took place Nov. 20. Leaders shared club news, trends of membership and governance and recognized new sustainers Tara Mady, Susan Stewart, Michele Markel and provisional Carisa Sechrist.

The Junior League is one of the oldest and largest women’s volunteer organizations in the world with 150,000 members and 291 leagues in four countries. The league’s purpose is education and charity. For information, contact Paige Rassega, membership chairman, at 330-743-2000.
