PORTSMOUTH, R.I.

Jennifer Kirkpatrick of Northborough, Mass., and Christopher Mark of College Park, Ga., were married Aug. 6 at Glen Manor House where a reception followed. The bride is the daughter of Marcia Kirkpatrick of Northborough, and Dr. Joseph Kirkpatrick of Worcester, Mass. The groom is the son of Donna and John Mark of McDonald.

The evening ceremony was officiated by a friend of the bride’s family.

The bride wore a sleeveless gown with a lace boat-neck and full A-line skirt and train. It featured a lace back with buttons and a satin belt.

Mrs. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Emerson College and a master’s degree in public health from Tufts University. She is a public health intern at Carter Center in Atlanta.

Mr. Mark graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. He earned a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy from Harvard University. He is an operations manager for Uber Eats in Atlanta.

The couple plan to travel to Europe for their honeymoon. They reside in College Park.
