CANFIELD

Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 S. Main St., will conduct Christmas vespers at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Featured will be Scripture readings and sacred music by the Chancel Choir, Trinity Bells and guest musicians.

Christmas program

NEW WATERFORD

The praise choir of Abundant Life Fellowship, 46469 state Route 46, will present a Christmas program at worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Children from Transformation Station will participate.

Christmas on CTNY

YOUNGSTOWN

Catholic Television Network of Youngstown will broadcast Masses and specials for Christmas. Christmas Eve Mass with Pope Francis will be at 3:30 p.m. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at 1 a.m. and 7 p.m. Christmas Day Mass from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., will be a noon.

Christmas Day Masses also will be broadcast at 8 and 11 a.m. from St. Paul Monastery in Canfield.

Event for men

ERIE, PA.

The fourth annual Erie Men’s Conference, a Catholic outreach to men of faith, is planned from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 25, 2017, in Warner Theater, by 2232 MEN, a nonprofit group of men of faith of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie. The diocese encompasses 13 counties that comprise the northwestern part of Pennsylvania.

The group’s name refers to Luke 22:32, a New Testament passage that reads: “But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

The conference is intended to be a day of prayer, reflection, worship and speakers.

Bishop Lawrence T. Persico of the Diocese of Erie will attend.
