Allyson Jo Ross became the bride of John Patrick Martin on July 4 at Giando on the Water. The parents of the bride are Barbara and Jack Ross of Canfield, and the parents of the groom are John and Maria Martin of Maplecrest, N.Y.

The Rev. Noel Clarke performed the 5 p.m. ceremony, and the reception also took place at Giando.

Mrs. Martin graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. She is a regional director of development and strategic partnerships for Upwardly Global, a nonprofit in Manhattan, N.Y.

Mr. Martin graduated from the New York City Fire Academy and is a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department.

Sisters of the bride, Carolyn Ross and Susan Pannunzio, were her honor attendants. Junior bridesmaids were Gianna Pannunzio, a niece of the bride, and Abby Martin, a niece of the groom.

Vincent Martin, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Joey and Tony Pannunzio, nephews of the bride, and William Martin, nephew of the groom, were ushers.

The couple reside in Queens, N.Y.
