Criminal trespass: James Allen, 35, of Winchester Avenue was released on a summons for criminal trespassing at Weston Center, 550 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault was reported at Westgate Plaza, 4431 Mahoning Ave.

Sex offense: A male suspect was seen masturbating in the lobby of the Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.

Sex offense: A male suspect was seen masturbating in the lobby of the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Kenneth Ledinko, 61, of Winchester Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for complicity to theft. He was released later, however, on a summons due to health issues.

Sex offense: Police arrested Samantha Maxwell, 30, of North Lima on charges of soliciting sex and possession of criminal tools at the Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Nov. 30

Menacing: Police said they have a suspect in a menacing at a home in the 30 block of South Main Street.

Assault: A female employee was assaulted by a student at the Youth Intensive Service, 238 S. Meridian Road.

Fraud: A scam involving the electric company and Green Dot cards was reported at Dick Adgate’s, 5865 Mahoning Ave.

Bad check: A bad check for $2,270.27 was passed at the Drywall Barn, 408 N. Meridian Road.

Recovered property: A lawn truck and trailer stolen from Boardman were recovered.

Theft: Lawn equipment was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.

Theft: A laptop was stolen from a car parked at a home in the 200 block of Penny Lane.

Theft by deception: Services by a company were not performed at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road.

Menacing by stalking: Unwanted texts and threats were reported by a person who lives at a home in the 400 block of Wilcox Road. The suspect has access to firearms.

Identity theft: Unauthorized accounts were opened at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from Walmart,6001 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 2

Dispute: A verbal dispute was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Criminal damaging: Tires were damaged at the Austintown Public Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: A storage locker was broken into at E-Z Self Storage, 5214 Mahoning Ave. The lock was pried off and an unknown amount of contents was stolen.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted texts, phone calls and nude photoes were reported by a person who lives at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.

Violation of protection order: Unwanted mail was reported at Harley-Davidson Biketown, 5700 Interstate Blvd.

Felonious assault: Police arrested Cherice DiProsperis, 29, of Carnegie Avenue, on a charge of felonious assault after she returned to a home in the 200 block of Carnegie and purportedly threw a knife at a male victim.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A male suspect drove a car without authorization says a person at a home in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A car window was smashed out at a home in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.

Identity theft: A credit-card number was stolen and used at Walgreen’s, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Kimberly Coleman, 44, of Benford Lane, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Warrant: Police arrested William Ortiz, 32, of Eigen Street on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Dec. 4

Theft: A male suspect stole items from the JCPenney store, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A front door window and a vehicle’s windshield were broken at a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Vandalism: A delivery truck was damaged at United Freezer, 650 N. Meridian Road.
