CHAMPION

The Warriors cut a 12-point deficit to three in the fourth quarter, but got no closer as the Golden Flashes (4-2, 1-1 AAC Blue) held on to win. Abby White hit five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 20- points for Champion. White and Allison Smith, who had eight points, combined for 15 of the Golden Flashes’ points in an 18-8 third-quarter run.

Austintown Fitch 60, Boardman 47

AUSTINTOWN

Austintown Fitch high scorer for the game was Natalie Lynn with 12, while Sabria Hunter and Gina DiFrancesco both added 10 points. Lauren Gabriele led Boardman with 25 points.

Howland 60, East 33

HOWLAND

Howland (6-1) won big behind the scoring of Sara Price with 26 points and Amber Rodriguez with 14. East (1-2) was led in scoring by Taylor Robinson with 11 points and Znayia Brown added nine.

Struthers 65, Jefferson 37

JEFFERSON

Emily Grandy made three 3-pointers and led the Wildcats (3-2, 2-0 AAC White) with 17 points, Khaylah Brown added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Alexis Bury had 10 points in a rout of the Falcons. Struthers led 37-16 at halftime and was never threatened. Angelica Sack led Jefferson with 10 points and Hannah Root added nine. Hubbard 43, Ashtabula Lakeside 36

Hubbard (2-5) picked up their second victory of the season with double figure scoring from Marissa Grand 15 points and Athenia Smith with 10 points. Lakeside (0-5) team high scorer was Tamara Lovevarria with 10.

Newton Falls (4-2) got 16 points from Izzy Kline with Kayla Barreca adding 14. Makayla Trebella scored 10 to lead Girard (2-4),

Lakeview 57, Warren Harding 40

WARREN

Annie Pavlansky led Lakeview with 19 points and 13 assists and Jensen Silbaugh had a good all-around game for the Bulldogs. She scored 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made four steals. Kia Allen scored 15 points for Harding.

West Branch 59, Carrollton 29

BELOIT

West Branch (3-2, 2-1), rebounded from a two-point first quarter. Natalie Zuchowski led the Lady Warriors with 21 points, Sarrah Tennefoss added 12 points and Kayla Havorka had 11 points and seven rebounds. Mikayla Poole scored 10 points to lead Carrollton (1-5, 0-4).
