Photo contest winners announced

In an amateur photography contest, the Lawrence County Tourist Promotion Agency looked for photos of events and attractions that make Lawrence County unique. With 26 entries, three photos emerged as winners.

The first-place winner was Antwan Gardner of New Castle, Pa., with “North of Bridge”; second place went to Eleanore Patton from Edinburg, Pa., with “Edinburg Veteran’s WWII Memorial Monument”; and third-place winner was Lillie Dregseth from New Castle for “Rodeo, Lawrence County Fair.” The entire listing of photographs submitted may be viewed on the tourism site www.Pinterest.com/visitlawrenceco/.
