The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have its first event of the Leadership Development Series Pro-D, professional development assessment, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Holiday Inn Boardman, 7410 South Ave.

The Pro-D framework is built on nine “Career Value Areas” that provide the foundation for understanding how people are wired, assumes that everyone is unique, and that when you gain an understanding of how people in general are wired and where you fit on that spectrum, you are better positioned to understand others.

The cost is $25 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Registration is required by Jan. 18.

Covelli acquires more Panera sites

WARREN

Ohio-headquartered Covelli Enterprises, the largest franchisee of Panera Bread, recently announced the acquisition of an additional 22 bakery-cafe locations in South Carolina and Georgia. The acquisition gives Covelli more than 300 Panera Bread restaurants in six states and Canada.

The new southern-based acquisition region includes midland and lowland South Carolina and Georgia, with bakery-cafes in the state capitals of Columbia and Augusta, as well as the coastal towns of Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Hilton Head and Savannah.

The Myrtle Beach location opened at the end of November for a total of 23 Panera bakery-cafes joining the Covelli Enterprises franchise.

3-D Printing Summit

PITTSBURGH

America Makes and Carnegie Mellon University will have a 3-D Printing Summit on Jan. 10-11 at the university.

The workshop will map out the future of 3-D modeling and printing. CMU is considered to be at the center of a manufacturing revolution in machine learning and modeling. The summit speakers are at the forefront of the movement to change manufacturing for both industry and consumers.

Allegiant traffic up

LAS VEGAS

Allegiant Travel Co., the only commercial airliner in operation at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna, recently reported its November traffic results.

The airline reported a 12.9 percent increase in the number of passengers it had with 854,114 in November compared with 756,443 in November 2015.

The number of departures increased 14.9 percent from 5,514 reported in November 2015 to 6,335 reported in November 2016.
