Police arrested six people Thursday on felony drug charges in separate incidents.

About 11:15 p.m., Kyle Keeling, 40, of Mineral Ridge, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia after a crack pipe and a bag of crack cocaine were found near where he was sitting in a car that was pulled over at Homestead and Marmion avenues for a broken taillight.

Reports said that Keeling also had a toy gun on him that looked real before officers were able to get a closer look at it.

Two men from Poland were arrested within minutes of each other on possession of heroin charges on the South Side. About 6:50 p.m., Ryan Trimacco, 30, of James Street in Poland, was found passed out in a car parked on a sidewalk against traffic at Shirley Road and East Florida Avenue. Reports said there was a needle sticking out of his chest and a bag of heroin next to him in the car, and he appeared dazed when an officer woke him up.

About 6:35 p.m., Joseph P. McIltrot, 37, of Cenella Drive in Poland, was pulled over at East Indianola and Poland avenues for an expired license plate sticker and appeared very nervous. Reports said police found a bag of heroin next to him on the driver’s seat, and when he was taken to the Mahoning County jail, corrections officers there found a bag of Suboxone in his socks.

About 4:15 p.m., officers of the vice squad serving a search warrant investigating suspected drug activity at a 534 W. Myrtle Ave. home found a digital scale, suspected Fentanyl, a bag of crack cocaine and a loaded .40-caliber handgun. The person who listed the home as his address, Marquail Watkins, 24, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a felon in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police found a bag of marijuana on a man who was at the home, Roy Meadows, 30, of South Jackson Street. He was cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and released with a court date.

About 1:30 p.m., police said they found 25 pills in a car driven by Wayne Ramsell, 32, of Windham, who was pulled over at Glenwood and Falls avenues after running a stop sign. He was arrested on a felony charge of possession of drugs.

And at 11:50 a.m., police pulled over a car driven by Brian Bleggi, 49, of Black Oak Lane, at Sherwood and Hillman avenues for failure to stop at a stop sign. Reports said when officers walked up to the car, they could see him reaching toward the center.

Bleggi gave police permission to search him after he was taken out of the car because of a large knife found where he was reaching. Officers found a crack pipe and a bag of crack cocaine, reports said. Bleggi was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All six men were held in the county jail.
