The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick-Campbell Road, will have a concealed handgun license course from 8:30 to 5 p.m. today.

The course covers basic pistol training and CHL law requirements to apply for an Ohio concealed handgun license.

Cost is$95 per person and includes use of pistols, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and lunch and light snacks.

Lowellville club to host gun show

Lowellville

The Mahoning Valley Gun Collectors will have a gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday at the Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road.

Admission is $4. Buy, sell and trade all types of guns, hunting and fishing equipment and collectibles. All firearms must be unloaded and are subject to inspection before entering.

Classes suspended

North Jackson

Youngstown Rifle & Pistol Club, 8900 Shaffer Road, is suspending its youth classes in December because of the holidays. The classes will return starting the fourth Friday in January.
