Students at Robinwood Lane Elementary School celebrated Halloween on Oct. 28 with a parade and classroom parties.

The teachers and students arrived at school in their Halloween costumes preparing to end the school week with Halloween-filled activities.

Throughout the day, the students participated in different Halloween-themed activities and schoolwork. Toward the end of the day, the students participated in a parade, which brought in a big crowd of families to watch. The students walked with their classes and teachers around the building twice, giving the students an opportunity to show off their costumes to the guests who came to watch. Some students dressed in partner costumes, some had simple costumes and others had extravagant costumes.

When the students finished their parade around the building, they went back to the classrooms to end the day with Halloween treats. Students brought in cookies, cupcakes and other items to share with their classmates. Many of the parents came to the classrooms after the parade to help with the parties and passing out treats.

Students and faculty members both enjoy incorporating holidays into their schoolwork. Many students said Halloween is something they look forward to each year to celebrate in school because they can dress up in costumes and get into the Halloween spirit.
