St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital/St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital Auxiliary will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Columba Cathedral Social Hall for a Christmas party.

CLUBS

College Club of Sharon will meet Saturday at First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall with hospitality at 10 a.m. followed by a musical program at 10:30. Shenango Valley High School students will entertain. Hostesses are the club officers. Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will meet Dec. 20 at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow at 7. The speaker will be a holiday surprise. All licensed amateur radio operators and those who are interested in learning more about the hobby are welcome. GROUPS

Transcendental Interest Group will have its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ohio Living Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The meeting will be a comparative study on religions. Attendees will watch a video by Dr. Charles Kimbell of the University of Oklahoma. This group is for those interested in exploring the inner way of knowing. Meetings are free and open to the public and are on the second Wednesday of every month. Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Lariccia Family Center in Boardman Park for a Christmas dinner and installation of officers. Hostesses will be the officers.

SINGLES

D.A.R.E. has scheduled the following activities: noon Saturday, meet for lunch at Fellows Riverside Gardens and to view Christmas trees; 7 p.m. Monday, play pool at Wedgewood Lanes; 7 p.m. Tuesday, bar bingo at the Saxon Club; 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank; and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, turkey dinner at the church, take something to share.

SOCIETIES

Poland Historical Society members are invited to a Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Road. National Slovak Society, Local Assembly 73, will host a Christmas party for members and their families from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, Lowellville. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 2:30 for a visit with the children and a gift for each child. A light lunch will be provided. Each family is asked to take a plate of cookies to share and items that will be donated to the Mahoning Valley Rescue Mission. VETERANS
