Shrine club donates $10,000

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Youngstown Shrine Club President Lou Garland, left, presented a donation of $10,000 from the club to Bob Lee, Shriners Hospitals for Children board of governors chairman. The donation is earmarked for the new EOS micro dose imaging system planned for the Erie facility. The Erie hospital is one of 22 Shriner hospitals throughout North America that provides family-oriented care for children with orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries and related treatments. This system uses 85 percent less radiation than most X-rays, and images can be taken in natural positions such as standing or sitting.
