Niles 48, Boardman 42

BOARDMAN

The Red Dragons limited the Spartans to one basket in the second quarter. Dakota Naples led Niles with 17 points and Amanda Black scored nine. For the Spartans, Lauren Gabriele led with 21 points and Jenna Vivo scored 10.

Poland 75, Liberty 31

LIBERTY

Poland blew away Liberty by jumping out to a 32-4 lead after the first quarter. Bella Gajdos led the Bulldogs with 14 points while Sarah Bury added 13 and Juliana Blangero had 12. China Tate paced Liberty (0-3) with 14 points.

Lisbon 62, Western Reserve 29

BERLIN CENTER

Karlee Pezzano scored 23 points to lead Lisbon. She also made eight rebounds and six steals. Autumn Oelstrom and Mackenzie Mason each scored 12, while Mason adding 11 rebounds. Izzy Perez made 10 steals and six assists. For Western Reserve, Laura Sigworth and Maddy Owen each scored six. Alexis Hughes made five assists and four steals.

Mineral Ridge 50, Crestview 38

MINERAL RIDGE

Alexa Harkins scored 20 points and Taryn Kolesar had 13 for the Rams. For the Rebels, Alexis Gates led with 20 points and six rebounds. Emily Ferris made eight rebounds.

Springfield 51, Wellsville 47

SPRINGFIELD

Springfield outscored Wellsville 36-20 in the second half to secure a narrow victory at home. Springfield was led by Haley LaMorticella with 12 points and three made 3-pointers. Nicole Bovo and Marlie Applegarth both added nine points.

McDonald 37, Southern 34

SALINEVILLE

Sam Homa’s 17 points led McDonald (3-1) to a road win over Southern. The Blue Devils outscored the Indians 12-5 in the final quarter to steal the win. Anna Sevek led Southern with 14 points while Stella Karcher added 11.

Jackson-Milton 48, East Palestine 24

EAST PALESTINE

Michaelina Terranova led the Bluejays with 14 points while Ashley Totani chipped in 11 for a comfortable win for Jackson-Milton (4-0) where East Palestine trailed 20-3 after the opening quarter. Brysten Troskey scored 10 to lead the Bulldogs.

Leetonia 51, Heartland Christian 15

LEETONIA

The Bears (5-1) racked up 26 steals in a blowout win over Heartland Christian. Kristy Eckman led Leetonia with 12 points while Destiny Davis hit two 3-pointers in the win. Sydney Ogden finished with nine points for Heartland Christian.

Bristol 52, Newbury 24

BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol used a 22-8 second quarter to pull away from Newbury and never looked back. Kendyl Switzer led the team with 19 points. Hailee Elza added 14 points and Brenna Rimer chipped in with 11.
