YAFWC hosts Tressel and plans Dec. event

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Clubs hosted its general meeting Nov. 16 at Springfield Grille with Catherine Campana presiding. The club was joined by Ellen Tressel, who shared historical and current information on Youngstown State University. From left, are Campana, president; Betty Cmil, first vice president; Tressel; and Barbara Higgins, second vice president. The next meeting will be at noon Dec. 21 at Tippecanoe Country Club. Entertainment will be provided, and guests are welcome. Tickets are $20, and reservations are required. Members are asked to take an unwrapped children’s book for the Beatitude House.
