Miss Kosec, Mr. Schiavone plan May rite

Alicia and David Kosec of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Francesca Marie Kosec, to Matthew Schiavone, both of Pittsburgh, Pa. Marcella and Joseph Schiavone of Greensburg, Pa., are the parents of the prospective groom.

The wedding ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. May 27, 2017, at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh. An evening reception will follow in the Music Hall Foyer of the Carnegie Museum of Art, also in Pittsburgh. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Kosec graduated magna cum laude from Duquesne University with a dual bachelor’s degree in English and communications. She also earned her juris doctorate degree cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law. She practices as a transactional attorney at Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, LLC in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Schiavone received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington and Jefferson College. He is licensed as a certified public accountant and works as a consultant for Kearney & Co. in Washington D.C.
