Joanna Lenefonte and Ivan Garcia were married on Sept. 26 at St. Charles Church by the Rev. Phillip Rogers. The reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Mary Jo Lenefonte of Youngstown, and the parents of the groom are Gregorio and Esmerelda Garcia of Texas.

Gina Hammerton, the bride’s cousin, was matron of honor. She was joined by attendants Gina Brown; the bride’s cousin, Michelle Gulgas; Ashley Friedman; Haley Weather; Frances Garcia, sister of the groom; Marissa Garcia, sister-in-law of the groom; the bride’s cousins, Mia Hammerton, Azelynn Repasky-Hammerton and Madeleine Gulgas; and Ashley Vanioukov. Alexia Garcia, the groom’s niece, was the flower girl. The attendants wore navy dresses.

Fabian Garcia, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Groomsmen were Gregorio Garcia, brother of the groom; cousins of the bride, Gregg Hammerton and Mike Gulgas; John Stengel; Ray Venegas; the bride’s cousins, Carmen Palermo and Anthony Palermo; Mario Palermo, godson of the bride; and Jeff Hammerton and Mark Gulgas, cousins of the bride. Gabe Hammerton, the bride’s godson, was the ring bearer.

Mrs. Garcia graduated from Ohio State University and the University of Dayton School of Law. She is an attorney for WilmerHale.

Mr. Garcia graduated from University of Texas-Pan American and works for the U.S. government.
