BOARDMAN

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 119 Stadium Drive, has canceled the Blue Christmas service planned for Tuesday.

The Chancel Choir will present A Festival of Lessons and Carols at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Dec. 11.

Church sets ‘Journey’

Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, will present “Journey to Bethlehem” from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 11 with tours approximately every 15 minutes.

The free gift to the community will take visitors to the time when Jesus was born. Tourgoers will register for the census as Mary and Joseph did, have an audience with Herod, talk to Three Kings with a live camel, try to get a room in the inn, find the manger and the Holy Family and enter Bethlehem to make a craft and enjoy refreshments.

Monetary donations will go to Project Feed Our Valley.

Fellowship program

YOUNGSTOWN

Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 323 Edwards St., will host a fellowship program for the holidays at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Speaker will be the Rev. Jeffery Stanford of Beulah Baptist Church. Host pastor is the Rev. McChelle Barnett.

Homilies by the late Rev. Richard Madden are available on 74 CDs. The recordings were made by Jackir Mraz and are available online at www.fathermadden.com. The collection is available to borrow at the YMCA downtown and Davis Family.
